Grainne Morton lives and works in Edinburgh, Scotland, telling bold and whimsical stories with her wearable art made from her collection of vintage and antique buttons, glass charms, medallions, badges and charms. The pieces are often one-of-a-kind. 

Painstakingly crafted, each and every object Grainne places into her compositions are delicately set by hand in silver. Each casing is measured carefully for a snug fit, soldered, pierced, and polished, before placing in the tiny object and rubbing the metal over to secure. Often plated with 18 carat gold, or oxidized to highlight the enclosed jewels, the pieces are shipped all over the world.

Blush — Ethically sourced 18k gold-plated silver, antique button, cameo, chalcedony, coral, moonstone, mother of pearl, opal, pearl, rainbow moonstone, rose quartz, shell and vintage glass.

Turquoise — Ethically sourced 18k gold-plated silver, antique button, cameo, carnelian, coral, enamel, goldstone, labradorite, micromosaic, moonstone, shell, sunstone and turquoise.

Cobalt — Ethically sourced 18k gold-plated silver, antique enamel button, cameo, iolite, lapis, micromosaic, mother of pearl, opal, rose quartz, shell, tourmaline and vintage glass.
