The exhibition celebrated the centenary of the birth of Brassaï (born Gyula Halász on 9 September 1899, in Brassó, Transylvania) with a showing of 125 of his photographs. Included were views of Paris at night taken in the late 1920s and early 1930s, studies of high society, children's graffiti made after World War II, and portraits of friends and colleagues.
