Modern and Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
by Gary Tinterow & Alison de Lima Greene
Modern and Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston celebrates the opening of the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building. The book includes an introductory essay by director Gary Tinterow about the important donors who contributed to the growth of the collection over the years, and another by Alison de Lima Greene, the Museum’s Isabel Brown Wilson Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, on modernism in Houston. It highlights more than 250 works in the Museum’s collections of modern and contemporary art, Latin American art, photography, design and craft, and prints and drawings from 1900 to the present day.
