En 2021, Kitty Crowther s’est lancée, durant le deuxième confinement, a dessiné des dizaines de têtes qui forment, deux ans plus tard, un ensemble de près de 150 dessins. Pour chacune de ces têtes, un protocole identique, des outils similaires. Mais une diversité infinie d’expressions, regards, attitudes, coiffures et couleurs qui évoquent la richesse du visage humain. Le livre Face the Day reproduira une centaine de ces dessins.

In 2021, Kitty Crowther set out, during the second confinement, to draw dozens of heads which, two years later, formed a set of nearly 150 drawings. For each of these heads, an identical protocol, similar tools. But an infinite diversity of expressions, looks, attitudes, hairstyles and colors which evoke the richness of the human face. The book Face the Day will reproduce around a hundred of these drawings.
