Living Wunderkammer

A former cinema dating from the art deco period located in a residential and commercial building in Basel is transformed into a living space, the interior of which is decorated with a collection of historical furnishings and art objects. The fusion of contemporary and historical creates a fascinating synthesis of the arts. While this unique space was being created, a repurposed old forge in nearby Ziefen was used as a countryside retreat. ‘Living Wunderkammer’ presents a detailed look at these two residences. Considered modern cabinets of curiosities, both are marked by the personality of their passionate owner-collector, whose surroundings are a continuous journey through time.

Custom Fine Art Prints
Made-to-order reproductions are custom printed on demand and are nonreturnable. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks production time. These items ship from Oregon and are not available for in-store pickup.
In-Store Returns
Most items may be returned for a full refund within 30 days. Items must be in the same condition that you received them; unworn or unused; with tags; and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase is required for all returns. Please see below for ineligible items.
