This limited edition tote bag features Kehinde Wiley's 2012 painting Mrs. Siddons, which was first exhibited at Sean Kelly Gallery in An Economy of Grace, Wiley's first-ever series dedicated to female subjects. Reimagined from Thomas Gainsborough's 1785 painting of the same name, Wiley's subject wears a dress designed in collaboration with Riccardo Tisci. Assuming the pose of her 18th century counterpart, her head is tilted rightward, looking to something beyond the canvas edges.
